Claytons Convention at Tindo Nudist Club

As most of our fellow nudist would be aware, sadly, there has not been an Annual Sports Rally and Convention for many years. This subject came up in a conversation with some members and one of them suggested we try and organise a “non Convention Convention”, and here we are………

We at Tindo, are opening our Club to fellow Nudists to help celebrate a “Claytons Convention”.

Reasons Conventions have fallen by the way, are probably many and varied
such as: –
: – Ageing population of the membership, particularly those of the members that always put their hand up to organise these events.
: – Costs to the Clubs and participants.
: – Distances travelled and associated costs.
These events were always filled with happy reunions, social events, sporting activities, making new friends and much, much more!

We have slowly lost contact with many friends, apart from, perhaps, “running in to them” whilst travelling and visiting interstate Clubs. So too, do we all miss the opportunity to meet new folk and establish new friendships.
With this in mind, we at Tindo, would like to extend an invitation to you, to our Club, in sunny South Australia, to celebrate and enjoy Clayton’s Convention (essentially a “Convention you Have When You Don’t Have a Convention!!)

This will not be an event on a grand scale as has been for previous Conventions organised by us at Tindo, and many other participating Clubs, but more an opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones, perhaps play a little sport, relax and have a drink or two or three, tour around the Barossa and basically have a good, relaxing and rewarding time.

Our plans currently are:-
: – 28th December 2024 to 8th January 2025
: – welcome BBQ 28 th December
: – Live band definitely booked for NYE party

: -? person spa – definitely for entire time
: – possibly organised Wineries bus tour which has always been heavily attended (we are after all close to the premier wine area?!?)
: – spontaneous organised BBQ’s, Breakfasts, shared Dinners etc. There will not be regular meals supplied throughout the event.
: – costs to our visitors will be kept to a minimum. Basically, site fees and small costs for supplied meals outings etc. (when organised)

Who knows, this idea may take hold and another Club may follow with their own Claytons Convention!? (A Convention You Have When You Don’t Have a Convention?!?)

We are simply trying to organise a get together to bring about the ethos/culture of our shared, nudist, lifestyle, something that has sadly fallen by the way for far too many years.
