I’m proud to say that I’ve been a nudist for as long as I can remember. Since 2005, I’ve been a dedicated member of Tindo in South Australia, and I strongly believe in the power of choice when it comes to one’s lifestyle.
Over the years, I’ve been involved in numerous projects and campaigns that promote body positivity and celebrate the nudist way of life. Whether it’s through social media, television, or other forms of media, I’m always happy to spread the message and show the world that nudists aren’t weirdos… well, not most of the time, anyway!
For me, being a naturist is all about freedom, acceptance, and the joy of being truly comfortable in one’s own skin. It’s a way of life that brings people together and celebrates the beauty and diversity of the human body. And I’m thrilled to be a part of the ANF community, where we can work together to promote and protect the naturist way of life for generations to come.
So if you see me around, don’t be shy! Come say hello, and let’s share in the wonderful world of nudism together.

I’ve been a nudist/naturist since I was introduced four years ago. Absolutely love it, very comfortable being naked. Totally enjoy the ‘lifestyle’ and there is NO way I’m ever reverting to 100% textile…EVER NEVER…and if our society would allow it, I would be nude the entire time. I have been a fully nude life draw model and intend to continue to develop professionally in nude modelling. I have introduced several people to nudism of which I see no turning back from them either. I am passionate about growing naturism in Australia and predominantly motivated to support and encourage significant numbers of both young and older females to encompass our lifestyle and for the broader community further educate toward the acceptance that being naked is TOTALLY OK and its acceptance to be much closer to a societal norm than it is today.

I have always been a person who hates wearing clothes, especially when it comes to being in the water, on the beach or at home. Back in the eighties, I discovered that there were other people who called themselves Nudists who felt the same way as I do. So, with this newfound knowledge, I spent a lot of time at the ‘Sunny Side’ Nude beach, in Victoria.
Being a family man, with kids (like Gavin, I am the only naturist in our household) life can get in the way of what we want to do; however, the passion has always remained. During COVID, I re-joined the ANF so I could be part of the community and following the call for help, I have put my hand up to help and joined the committee as the new ANF Secretary.

Treasurer
Gavin
I’m a family man with a wonderful wife and three amazing kids (although, I’m currently the only naturist in the bunch!). Naturism has been a passion of mine since I was young, but it wasn’t until I was approaching my 50th birthday that I decided to shed my worries about societal judgement and join a local naturist club.
When I saw the call for a Treasurer, I knew that this was my chance to dive even deeper into the naturist community. With a degree in accounting and a previous career in banking, I felt well-equipped to take on the financial responsibilities of the organisation. Nowadays, I work as a librarian, which is quite a change from my previous professional life.
But regardless of my day job, I’m committed to spreading the word about the many benefits of naturism, and helping to build a stronger, more vibrant community of like-minded individuals. So if you’re looking to embrace your natural self and connect with others who share your love of nudism, don’t hesitate to reach out!

As a devoted family man and husband, I have a handful of passions that drive me, and one of them happens to be naturism. I firmly believe that everyone should have the chance to immerse themselves in the liberating and nourishing lifestyle of naturism, which can bring incredible benefits to both the mind and body. My wife and I are lucky enough to be members of, and live at Kiata, a land based club located west of Sydney, near Windsor. Join us in exploring the boundless joys of naturism and all that it has to offer!!

Josh
Hi there, folks! You can call me Josh, but my friends and colleagues know me as “Belt Buckle.” As your Queensland representative and Public Relations Officer for the ANF, I’m thrilled to be in a position to promote and celebrate the naturist lifestyle in all its forms.

For over 20 years, the nudist lifestyle has been part of my life. My introduction to it began when I started frequenting Lady Jane beach in Sydney and joined the Free Beach Association of NSW to advocate for clothing optional beaches in the area. Although I’ve participated in a few events throughout the years, my schedule and finances haven’t allowed for more extensive travel to attend more. I currently reside in Tasmania, which while picturesque, is lacking in nudist resorts, clubs, and beaches. Hopefully, that will change in the future.

Richard
I’m Richard – a passionate member of the ACT Nudist Club. Before finding my way to this community, I spent many years as a beach and home nudist. To me, naturism is the ultimate equalizer – a way to strip away all the labels and prejudices that society heaps upon us, and simply exist in our natural state.
I truly believe that being a part of the nudist lifestyle can do wonders for one’s self-confidence. When you’re surrounded by other naked people, you quickly realize that nobody has a perfect body – and that’s perfectly okay. In this accepting and supportive environment, you’re free to be yourself, flaws and all. So come join us in experiencing the empowering benefits of naturism, where every body is beautiful and every person is equal.

Paul
I’ve just survived my 70th birthday. My wife and I live in Townsville, sunny North Queensland and have been here since 2000, although I was born here and left for a trip around the big island at 19 years young, not to return for 25 years. I have been an activist for Naturism since my early twenties, serving on various committees and being involved at grass roots level in a lot of successful campaigns in Mackay, Perth and here at home but I need to ease off a little these days as health and other commitments start to catch up.

G’day all, I am David. I am a devoted family man, married with a very loving and supportive wife.
Recently we both wanted to challenge our own conservative life trajectory. We agreed we wanted to live lives worth living, without ever regretting not doing something we might have liked to do. This encouraged me to search the internet to find a place where we might legally go skinny dipping. In doing so, I found the ANF website, which in turn lead us to discover and visit a nearby legally clothing optional beach.
Trust me when I say the experience was life changing! Our initial apprehension instantly turned to both feelings of exhilaration and an awesome sense of freedom. We were hooked!
Since becoming a Naturist I have developed a burning and sincere desire to promote naturism as a valid form of recreation and ultimately a beneficial way of life. I have met wonderful people within the Naturist community and have come to regard them as close as actual family members. As such, I intend to strive with the ANF committee to ensure Naturism is being effectively represented and promoted in our society and for the Naturist Community to be strengthen by unity, growth and longevity.

Naturist or a nudist – it’s all the same. For over three decades, I have been living a naturist lifestyle and it feels completely normal and natural to me. I am grateful for the opportunity to regularly connect with like-minded individuals at various naturist clubs, retreats, beaches, camps, and other events.
In 2022, I spearheaded a campaign to save Sunnyside North clothing optional beach from being shut down by the local council. I was blown away by the show of support from the community, and we were able to successfully protect our rights as naturists. I am extremely proud of the thousands of individuals who stood with us.
My passion for the naturist lifestyle remains strong and I always relish the chance to introduce others to this incredible way of life.
